Mr. Chaudhry consults regularly with a wide range of corporate and non-profit entities on corporate, regulatory, and contentious matters and has, inter alia: (i) advised hydropower and solar power projects to ensure compliance with relevant RFPs and applicable hydropower and solar power policies at the bidding, LOI, and LOS stages; (ii) assisted several start-ups with corporate and regulatory governance issues and corporate restructuring, including the establishment of foreign holding companies in various jurisdictions under recent amendments to the State Bank of Pakistan’s Foreign Exchange Manual; (iii) assisted in the creation of appropriate corporate substructures required to undertake power projects in a manner that reduces transaction costs and facilitates the flow of international investment and repatriation of profits, including the incorporation of holding companies and local project companies; (iv) advocated on behalf of several INGOs for registration with the Ministry of Interior under the INGO Policy; and (v) represented corporate and non-profit clients before the High Court and various quasi-judicial forums.

Mr. Chaudhry’s work with McKinsey & Company involved analysis based on McKinsey’s problem-solving model as applied to management challenges across multiple industries. He was part of the team developing the McKinsey perspective on the petrochemical sector in the Middle East, including work on demand forecast models for petrochemicals based on projected global GDP growth scenarios. On another project, he worked on the analysis of product competitiveness, process mapping, and execution of the budgeting process at one of the largest Middle Eastern mining companies.
