Mr. Abdullah Manik is an Associate Partner at Mumtaz & Brohi with an established practice in corporate, commercial, and regulatory law. He regularly represents institutional and corporate clients before district courts, the High Court, and statutory tribunals, and is recognized for his strategic advisory role in high-value transactions, complex regulatory matters, and contentious commercial disputes.
Since joining the firm in August 2022, Mr. Manik has developed a strong practice in corporate, commercial, aviation, constitutional, service, oil and gas, customs, and regulatory matters. He regularly appears before district courts, the High Court, and statutory tribunals, representing institutional clients including the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDCL), Customs–Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Sambu Construction, and the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA). He was elevated to Associate Partner in December 2024.
Mr. Manik’s corporate and commercial practice encompasses company formation, compliance, and complex regulatory advisory. He is engaged in high-stakes transactional and commercial work, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements for Allied Bank Limited, preparing employment documentation, and developing HR policy frameworks for private entities. He provides strategic advisory to leading clients such as LMKR, LCC Pakistan, and Sambu Construction on employment, labour, commercial, and regulatory matters. He is also active in contentious work involving high-stakes commercial disputes and arbitrations.
Before joining the firm, he trained with Jahangiri Law Associates, where he gained extensive litigation experience in criminal matters, rent evictions, matrimonial disputes, and custody cases.
